About Me

Will joined Shaffer Capital as a Wealth Management Advisor in January 2025. He works closely with the firm’s individual and business clients to help them pursue their financial goals through personalized investment management, comprehensive financial planning, and fiduciary guidance. Passionate about serving others, Will takes pride in helping clients navigate the wide range of financial decisions they face while building long-term relationships founded on trust, communication, and personal attention.  

A 2024 graduate of Ohio Northern University, Will earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with majors in Finance and Marketing. He graduated Summa Cum Laude, finished first in his class within the James F. Dicke College of Business, and received the Department Medal in Finance. During his time at Ohio Northern, he served as a two-year captain of the men's soccer team and was an active member of the university’s Student Investment Group. Will holds the Series 65 Investment Adviser Representative license and is currently pursuing the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation. He is also an active member of the Financial Planning Association of Central Ohio.  

Originally from Galena, Ohio, Will enjoys an active lifestyle and can often be found playing soccer, golfing, hiking, or working out. A lifelong supporter of Manchester United, he remains passionate about the sport both playing and as a fan. Outside of work, he enjoys reading business and personal development books, exploring new places through travel, and spending quality time with family and friends. His favorite destinations include the U.S. Virgin Islands and the mountain regions of Wyoming and Idaho.
