About Me

Alex joined Shaffer Capital as a Wealth Management Advisor in the spring of 2026. In his role, he works closely with the firm’s individual and business clients to help them pursue their financial goals through comprehensive financial planning and personalized investment management. He is dedicated to building lasting client relationships and is committed to delivering the personalized service and fiduciary guidance that are central to the firm's philosophy. 

Alex earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree, summa cum laude, from Ohio Northern University with majors in Finance and Marketing. While at Ohio Northern, he served as captain of the men's soccer team and was selected as the recipient of the university's prestigious Dicke Scholarship. He holds the Series 65 Investment Adviser Representative license. Alex is a member of the Financial Planning Association.

Alex is a native of Galena, Ohio. In his free time, he enjoys golf, reading, fitness, travel, and following sports. A passionate Arsenal FC supporter in the English Premier League and lifelong Ohio State fan, he enjoys keeping up with both teams throughout the year. He has had the opportunity to visit Rome, Athens, and Barcelona during his college years. Switzerland remains at the top of his travel bucket list. He hopes to one day attend an Arsenal match at Emirates Stadium in London. Above all, he values spending time with family and friends.
